‘Hollywood Viixen’ is Pat Savii’s fun warning to his generation about the cliche women of Hollywood. Produced by 24SEVN, the track features hints of 90’s & 00’s RnB woven into Savii’s intoxicating melodies to create a new-wave, yet nostalgic sound.
Valentine’s Day saw the release of this single via Wealth Nation Entertainment / Big Shot Music Group. Described as a “modern sound with a vintage vibe,” the song perfectly captures the sonic characteristics of Hollywood’s vixens while showcasing Savii’s unique vocal abilities.
The record begs for the creation of new sub-genre of Hip-Hop, as it rests in perfect harmony between RnB, Pop, and Rap, leaving the mind torn in time as this track caters to both an old and new sound.
Upon pairing the record with its music video, released Feburary 21st, Savii’s descriptive lyricism is given life and meaning through these visuals from A Just Jaimar Production. In a new and memorable approach, Savii toys with what appears to be a visual form of consciousness in the form of a woman juxtaposed with the Hollywood vixen who occupies Savii’s lustful desires. Just as the video appears to finish, Savii is seen praying as a new track enters the ear saying, “I’m not like the rest, I got a soul to save.” The meaning? You’ll have to decide for yourself.
