Stacy- Ann Dennis

Stacy- Ann Dennis, the owner of Subtle Touch Event Planning, was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica. She came to the United States when she was ten years old and currently resides in Washington, DC. She has been in the Event Planning business for 19 years and always had a passion for fashion and beauty since she was young.

While she was in college, she worked in a small boutique as an Assistant Manager and Fashion Show Coordinator. This is how she began her event planning career and since has owned her company for six years.

Stacy-Ann has expended the event planning company and added a fashion department (Subtle Touch Model Management and Productions).  Also, she has launched her beauty and fashion line, Subtle Touch Cosmetics, Hair It Is by Stacy and Subtle Touch Designs.

Due to her great success in every event planned, she started coordinating several other events not only for the boutique where she was working at but for many other small businesses in the area. Soon she has realized this is her calling, and since then she has been coordinating fashion shows, parties for schools, restaurants and even corporate.

Stacy-Ann is also a model and a makeup artist. She did her first fashion show when she was in the 7th grade. She has done informal (tearoom) modeling for Liz Claiborne and the U street Jazz Concert (Vintage Car Show), mannequin modeling for Speedo swimwear and sportswear, Ring Card Girl, TV advertisement for Von Lique Fashion and Cross Road Club & Restaurant, music videos, New Days Associates Inc. fashion shows and contest, Robert Brown Production fashion shows and more, print work for Picturesque Magazine, Wet Magazine, the City Paper and Stamp Magazine just to name a few.

Stacy-Ann has also done some dancing for the 7th & 8th Annual Reggae Award Ceremony, UPN 20 Talent Showcase (Mobuzz Rap Group) and the WB 50 Reggae Splash.

Through her years of experience, she has cultivated excellent business relationships with several vendors and with her beautiful team with whom she commits to giving that subtle touch of elegance to every event she does. Her passion and dedication remain strong. Working with her, you will find that she still stays true to her roots.
